Many of the middle school students have been working hard all year, and we have decided that it is time for them to be rewarded for their effort and dedication. Therefore, on Friday, March 4th, the 7th and 8th graders will be taking a field trip to Rollero Family Skating Rink. They will eat lunch early at Liberty and load onto the buses promptly at noon. We will have the skating rink to ourselves until 2:30 pm, at which time we will head back to Liberty in time for dismissal. STUGO has been successfully raising money with early morning hot cocoa sales, and we are excited to put part of that money towards the field trip. The cost for each student to participate will be $5, which will include skate rental and a hot dog and soda afternoon snack.
Here are a couple of reminders:
*This field trip is only for those students who have earned the right to participate. The teachers will be looking at grades and behavior when deciding who is eligible to attend.
*We need chaperones! Chaperones must be over the age of 18 (preferably parents) and must have a fingerprint clearance card.
A detailed letter and permission forms will be going home within the next few days.
